ELABORATION
85% Tempranillo, 10% Garnacha and 5% Graciano aged for 12 months in new and used 225 litre French (70%) and American (30%) oak barrels.
TASTING NOTES
SIGHT Bright ruby red colour with a high robe and little evolution. NOSE Very marked aromas of liquorice and stewed fruit (dried apricots, plums and cherries) that blend with notes from its time in oak (spices, vanilla and roasted coffee) and a soft milky background. MOUTH A long, full-bodied wine with a marked acidity that balances it as a whole. Aftertaste of prunes and aromas of ageing, vanilla and toast with a savoury, sweet and mineral finish.
